About the Museum
This piece of furniture is greatly original; the base is made of vine-shoots and grapes naturalistically intertwined, with a strongly realistic carving. We don’t know its original provenance. The console is housed in the red living room of the baroque apartment, on the first floor of palazzo Tozzoni built between 1736 and 1738 for the marriage of Francesco Tozzoni and Carlotta Beroaldi.
